Good Vibes are Essential


Hey guys! Dani Davis here and it’s time we talk about the power of our minds! The way we talk and think has a lot to do with how we act and feel. I’m sure you’ve heard if we control the mind we can control the body. That statement cannot be truer! Positive attitudes and vibes have been scientifically proven to have positive and negative effects regardless of where there are put. It’s energy and it’s a very powerful tool if used correctly. If not, well self-sabotage comes into play.

Have you ever had a mental conversation with yourself? Telling yourself it’s time for a change, tomorrow is the day I quit makes excuses, or I can’t do this it’s too hard. These statements are all geared in the right direction but at the same time you are already defeating yourself before you get started. Hear me out. Our brain hates to lose. Period. We need to set ourselves up so that we will win. The words CAN’T and QUIT are both words that will deem us for failure. If I “quit” something, my brain perceives that as if I gave up. I don’t know about you, but I don’t give up and I don’t like to lose. If we say CAN’T, we have already defeated ourselves before trying.

What can we do about this? Well we can start by rephrasing our words. I will STOP making excuses, I will DO better tomorrow than I did today, I didn’t get as far as I wanted but I made progress. Can you hear the difference? You’re not losing, you are choosing to make a different decision. The power of being positive and using the right words, make it so we don’t compete against ourselves. So get out of your own way, and be nice!

Positive and negative energy are something very real. I want to share with you a little science experiment by Dr. Emoto.

Dr. Emoto discovered the power of positivity by freezing drops of water and how the crystals formed before and after prayer, music, and words. The frozen crystals with the words love and gratitude ended up having the most beautiful shapes. Unlike the water that had a negative environment with words such as hate and ugly, had distorted and unorganized pattern.

This discovery is one of the most useful lessons we all can learn from. By making small changes on how we word our sentences, talk to ourselves and each other we can make a positive difference not only our physical health but our mental health as well. When the brain is happy and healthy, we can manifest that good energy in our body to keep us healthy, strong, and help us heal. Yes, a healthy diet and exercise are still required, but that’s only part of the equation.
